Today we will dedicate it to discovering the wonderful city of Luxor, the ancient Thebes, which was the capital of the Middle and New Kingdoms. We will visit the Eastern Bank, with the temples of Luxor and Karnak, two of the most spectacular in Egypt and which were once linked by the mythical avenue of the sphinxes about 3 km long.
They will also have the possibility of contracting the optional visit to the Western Bank, a World Heritage Site since 1979, to see the majestic Necropolis of Thebes. We will visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Pharaoh Hatshepsut dedicated to the woman who was on the throne of the "Two Lands" the longest and the Colossi of Memnon, two gigantic statues representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Return to the cruise, lunch. We will continue sailing towards Esna and after crossing the Lock we will go to Edfu.

In the morning possibility to visit the Temple dedicated to the god Horus in Edfu. This temple dedicated to the falcon god is the second largest in Egypt after Karnak and one of the best preserved. We will continue sailing to Kom Ombo where we will have the opportunity to visit the Temple dedicated to the Gods Sobek and Haroeris. The southern half of the temple was dedicated to Sobek, god of fertility and creator of the world, and the northern half to Haroeris "Horus the elder", who was considered the initiator of Egyptian civilization, god of the sky, of war and of hunting. The temple is unusual in that it is double and symmetrical with respect to the main axis.

Today we will have the opportunity to visit Abu Simbel, the majestic temples of Ramses II and his wife Nefertari. At the indicated time we will leave by bus to Abu Simbel, we will cross the desert until we reach Lake Nasser in the south of Egypt. These impressive temples were carved out of the rock during the reign of Pharaoh Ramses II and dedicated to the pharaoh and his wife Nefertari, to commemorate their victory at the Battle of Kadesh and show their power to the Nubians.
In 1968, the complex was relocated to an artificial hill, built above the level of the future Lake Nasser. The transfer of the temples was necessary to prevent them from being submerged after the construction of the Aswan Dam. Return to the ship for lunch. In the afternoon, possibility of visiting the Philae temple.
We will take a small boat to visit Philae where we will enjoy the wonderful light and sound show that this magical island offers us. There we will admire the temple dedicated to the goddess Isis, surrounded by other temples and the famous Kiosk of Trajan, an Egyptian temple built by the Roman emperor.

Breakfast on board. In the morning we can enjoy the boat or one of the optional excursions that our guide will offer us. Lunch and at the scheduled time transfer to the airport to take the flight to Cairo. Arrival, transfer to the hotel and accommodation.
Breakfast. In the morning visit to the well-known esplanade of the pyramids. The necropolis of Giza is the largest in Ancient Egypt, with burials from the first dynasties, although its splendor reached it during the IV dynasty, with the pyramid of Cheops, also known as the Great Pyramid, that of Khafre and the relatively small, Menkaure.
We will also visit the Valley Temple of Khafre, 500 m from the Pyramid of the same name, almost intact as it was covered by sand until the 19th century. And next to the temple the great Sphinx with a height of about twenty meters and 57 meters in length. The head could represent Pharaoh Khafre with the body of a lion. In ancient times it was painted in bright colors: red on the body and face, and the nemes that covered the head with yellow and blue stripes.

In the afternoon, the possibility of visiting Sakkara, on the west bank of the Nile, was the necropolis of the ancient city of Memphis. We will visit the Step Pyramid of Djoser, erected by Imhotep the first known name architect in history. In its time, it was the highest construction in the world and prototype of the following Egyptian pyramids. We will continue to admire the precious tomb of Kagemni, one of the chatys (vizier) of the sixth dynasty and governor of Memphis. His tomb contains polychrome reliefs considered among the most beautiful of the Old Kingdom.
Then we will discover the Teti pyramid, from the outside we will only see what looks like a small hill, since the conservation above ground is very bad, but below the chambers and corridors are very well preserved. To end this magnificent visit, we will visit the mastaba of Ptahhotep, a scribe who worked as an administrator and chaty (vizier) during the fifth dynasty. This tomb has an exceptional decoration.

Optionally, you can hire the full day tour, visiting the Ibn Tulun Mosque, the oldest in Cairo that preserves its original construction and the largest. Built around the 9th century, it is inspired by that of Samarra with a great oriental influence that we can appreciate is the abundance of arches and domes.
We will continue through the enigmatic Egyptian Museum of Antiquities opened in 1902. It has more than 136,000 classified objects from different periods of Egyptian history. Then we will go to the Coptic neighborhood, as Egyptian Christians are called. Strolling through its alleys we can discover the church of San Sergio, from the sV, built on the cave in which the Holy Family took refuge in its flight from Herod and many other secrets that this magical place offers us. Lunch at a local restaurant. We will continue visiting the Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC).
This interesting Museum exhibits all the historical periods of the country to learn in depth about its culture from prehistory to the present day, passing through the Pharaonic, Greco-Roman, Coptic and Islamic periods. And of course the recently inaugurated "Royal Hall of Mummies", where 20 royal mummies, 18 Kings and 2 Queens are exhibited.
We will end our tour in the bustling Khan el Khalili Bazaar founded in 1382. An immense souk of narrow alleys with thousands of small shops packed with merchandise, streets full of people, tables at the doors of cafes and small craftsmen's workshops. You cannot miss the famous ElFishawi cafe
(of mirrors), open for 200 years and frequented by artists.
Optionally, to end the day, you can hire a Cairo dinner on a boat on the mythical Nile with a typical show to say goodbye to the city.
At the indicated time, transfer to the airport to take the flight back to Spain. Arrival and end of our services.
