A round of applause for Travel Agencies

Thousands of agents have encountered border closures, hotel closures, flight cancellations... and clients in different parts of the world. Given all this situation, the Travel Agencies sector has not turned its back on its clients and they have been in charge of finding a way to make each one of those affected return home. Finding flights where there weren't any, crossing borders that couldn't be crossed, finding accommodation where there wasn't one, giving medical assistance in inhospitable places... Travel agents have been "guardian angels" of so many people with problems abroad. from their house. And on occasions, they have fulfilled this task without obtaining a direct economic benefit. Many times, losing money. But fulfilling the obligation that every travel agent has to take care of their client, before, during and after their trip. And they have done all this in a difficult situation worldwide, but especially for their own companies. Sometimes working from home, with their own phone, asking for favors in each country, reaching out to acquaintances and friends... and meanwhile, making real efforts to keep the company or their job.

To do this, they have had the help and work of those who are always, (and more so in times of difficulty), the tourist's best friend: The mail guides. Those people who have more resources than a utility knife:. Thousands of escort guides around the world have worked to ensure the well-being of travelers and help them return home, and today, many tourists are at home, also thanks to them.
