Sustainable, responsible and safe tourism

The World Tourism Organization defines sustainable tourism as tourism that takes fully into account its current and future economic, social and environmental impacts, addressing the needs of visitors, industry, the environment and host communities.

The Spanish Association of Responsible, Safe and Sustainable Tourism was born in the spring of 2020 as the result of the reflection and commitment of a group of professionals from the Spanish tourism sector with the vocation to rethink tourism development models in a way that can contribute to a more conscious, committed and responsible tourism management, as well as with the firm commitment to design more respectful and inclusive models with the local resident communities

The world that we are now beginning to reactivate is not the same as the one we knew in March 2020.
